Where are you on your spiritual path?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 23, 2008:
Good day
I am new. I am from South Africa, I am a woman and my first language is Afrikaans. I am White, with green eyes and dark brown hair. I am a mature lady, but please excuse me if my English (grammer) is skew sometimes.
I read many books on this subject, but find it hard to be patient and to persevere in practising breathing, to control my mind and to get rid of fear. But I am not a quitter, I believe, and when I fall I stand up time and again. I think I am still at the beginning of my spiritual path. I do not know yet how long this path is. :-D
